1. Overview
BizSpot NY is committed to providing value to our business listing customers. This policy outlines our approach to refunds, cancellations, and dispute resolution for our premium directory listing subscriptions.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Illegitimate Business or Illicit Industry
Refunds will be issued if the business or listing in question is illegitimate or operates in a not-accepted illicit industry, as noted in our Content Moderation Guidelines. To request a refund under these circumstances:
- Email hello@bizspotny.com with your account email and business name
- Provide details regarding the illegitimate nature of the listing
- Refund processed within 5-10 business days upon verification
2.2 Billing Errors
Refunds will be issued in full if a billing error or duplicate billing occurs. Contact us within 30 days at hello@bizspotny.com with:
- Your account email and transaction details
- Description of the billing error or duplicate charge
- Refund processed immediately upon verification
2.3 Subscription Cancellation
Users have the right to cancel their subscription at any time. While cancellations stop future charges, refunds for already-paid subscription periods are not provided except in cases outlined in sections 2.1 and 2.2 above.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancel your subscription anytime:
- How: Dashboard → Settings → Subscription → "Cancel"
- Effect: No future charges; premium features remain active until period ends
- Your listing: Stays published but downgrades to free tier after period ends
- No fees: No cancellation or early termination charges
💡 Tip: Cancel anytime and reactivate later without losing your data.
4. Disputes & Chargebacks
Before filing a chargeback: Contact us at hello@bizspotny.com. We resolve most billing issues within 24-48 hours.
Chargebacks result in immediate account suspension and may incur chargeback fees.
